Power over Ethernet (PoE)
The PoE switch is ideal when there is no power line at the camera mounting location. The data as well as the power supply are transmitted via the LAN cable. This requires a cost-effective and simple network installation or expansion. The power supply of all devices is adjusted automatically and is compatible with many IEEE standards. LAN connections for up to 8 PoE-capable cameras are available (max. 30 watts per port). Non-PoE capable devices must nevertheless be operated with their own power supply.
